The EFR course is scheduled over 1 day. We are totally flexible and can plan this around your personal timeframe. Most commonly, EFR courses are conducted on the day prior to a PADI Rescue Diver course starting.
Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple steps to follow for emergency care. You will practice applying skills in a non stressful learning environment.

Attending to injuries sustained in non-diving related accidents, as well as treating dive related accidents which includes

Emergency First Response Secondary Care (first aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Participants focus on secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice.
What to expect on your PADI Rescue Diver Course, Phuket
Meet your Instructor for the course and you will be shown an EFR Video after which you’ll complete a number of tasks to demonstrate your understanding of the course and skills taught.
Upon completion of the course, you are a fully certified emergency first responder with the skills to react to many medical emergencies and could go onto taking the PADI Rescue Course next.
